BAIC devotes to establishing SUPER Power platform, HEV platform and EV platform to comprehensively meet market demands for petrol vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles and BEVs.  

SUPER Power platform covers three series: Series S features Chinese strongest 1.5T engine with up to 109kW/L; Series H precedes the whole industry due to 42% of thermal efficiency; and Series E combines power and economy to offer impressive hybrid electric experience with over 35% of fuel reduction.   

HEV platform is widely applied for strong hybrid, plug-in hybrid and extended-range hybrid, presenting Max. power of 160kW, energy efficiency of 35% and energy consumption of only 4.1L/100km.    

EV platform has been adopted in a herd of models like BEIJING-EU5 and BEIJING-EU7, which benefits in maximum torque of 800N·m and over 1000km super mile range.

BAIC will provide customers with all-scenario travel experience through 4-round upgrading in the next three years.

Round 1: a batch of newly upgraded versions such as BEIJING-U5 PLUS and BEIJING-EU5 PLUS will be launched to meet customers’ demands in quality, comfort and safety.  

Round 2: BEIJING-X5 and BEIJING-X7 PLUS with 1/4 scenario function are expected to hit the market. BEIJING-X5 highlights L2.5 Active Drive Assist, HWA and Super Cruise as well as AR-HUD and electric rear-view mirrors. BEIJING-X7 PLUS is armed with long wheelbase, panoramic sunroof, seat massage, Huawei Hicar and RPA.

Round 3: Fresh new BEIJING-X3 with 1/2 scenario function will be realized, featuring special mecha appearance, strong power of 138kW/288N·m, 6-way power seats and electric legrest passenger, 14.6-inch super screen and Harmony OS to offer all-round entertainment experience.

Round 4: since 2023, BAIC will delve into all-scenario new vehicles to offer lean services, specific solutions and personalized experiences to new-generation workers, game fans, pets owners, full-time mothers and etc.
